L for Lady and the Tramp!

Today we did L for Lady and the Tramp!

We started out the day with play doh. We do this everyday! I like it because it's a hands on way for the kids to form the letters.

We did a letter, color and counting review all in one. I punched out two inch circles and wrote the letters to each child's name. They put them in groups with matching letters. I had them count the different groups. Then I called out by color which letter to find for their names.

Can I just talk about this for a second?! Halee has had a crush on this cutie for almost 2 years! She just thinks he's the man for her ;) it's too cute! As I was looking through pics I caught this and had to share!

I don't know any kid that doesn't love to be a dog! My nephew is always pretending to be a doggy! We made dog collars and ears like the ones we made for our Lady and the Tramp movie night.

We stamped and traced the Letter L. The stamping sheets I've been using lately can be found here.

We also colored lady and the Tramp for a craft project for our books. Funny story. . . The kids were arguing over who could be Lady or Tramp and who could be the boy dog or the girl dog and my cute niece blurts out " well me and Halee are Lady Tramps!!"

For our alphabet books today we made the Mommy and baby L with spaghetti aka yarn. Can I just say how much I love yarn for our crafts lately?! It's awesome ;)

I bet you can guess what we had for snack?! Yes, I am that crazy lady that fed five little kids spaghetti for fun!!

Today was fun!!
