Insects! Ants, ladybugs, butterflies, bees. . . .
cutest bugs I've ever seen!!!
We started the morning with play doh!!
We made mommy and baby I's
Then on to our super cute bug hats!! I used blue because Flik the ant is blue! We used cardstock. I let the kids glue on the eyes and we stapled the headband and taped on the feelers!
We did a lot of stamping today! I had the 3 four year olds stamp sight words. They all stamped and traced I's
They stamped lady bug dots! Each lady bug had a number and that's how many dots they had to give them!
We had some fun with plastic bugs from the dollar store! We sorted them by color. We counted each group. We added and subtracted different groups together too!!
For snack we had ants on a log, worms in dirt and drank nectar!
For our Alphabet books we did finger paint bugs!! This was fun and not as messy as I thought it was going to be!! We also colored and glued the bugs from Bugs Life in our book!
Today was fun!!
