Pirates of the Caribbean Birthday Party

E got into the Pirates of the Caribbean movies and decided that he wanted a Pirate Birthday! Can I just tell you how fun this was to do?! Not to mention that Pirates of the Caribbean in like my favorite ride at Disneyland! I was googling to find my son a cute pirate outfit and stumbled upon a Little Tikes dress up for .99 cents! Can you believe it?! I sure couldn't. With a price like that I had to buy enough for all the kids at the party to have their own!

My decor was so easy! Can I just say streamers go a long way and add a lot to a party! My cute preggo sister cut out the cute letters and sayings.  A lot of the decorations were my mom's Halloween things. I also got the fishing nets from the dollar store.

The party food! We had pirate pizza, octopus ooze cups (jello), walk the plank cookies (fudge stick wafer cookies), Grog (root beer in Hugs Juice barrels) and gold fish crackers.
I made the cake. I printed off a map on my computer and took it to Albertsons to have an edible picture made. I made a plain square cake with chocolate frosting and placed the map on with coins and jewels. Super easy!!

Pin the treasure on the map!
I filled a kiddie pool with sand and hid gold coins, beaded necklaces and plastic jewels. The kids loved digging for treasue!
Walk the plank with out letting the shark get you!
The cute little group of pirates.
Me and my cute preggo sister who I can always count on to get party crazy with me!!
