Today was G for Genie!!
We started out the day with play doh!! Shaping our letter Gs!!
After play doh it was right on to painting! We painted lamps gold. While the kids painted we talked about the movie Aladdin and who exactly was the Genie of the Lamp!!
While our lamps dried we did stamping. We stamped the Mommy and baby letter G. We also stamped a dot to dot lamp!! I say it every time, they LOVE stamping!!
We traced the letter G and colored the Genie for our Alphabet books!! Mitch was such a good helper to his little brother today!
For snack we had all things blue!! Blue jello, blue berries and blue kool-aid! (So healthy, I know) If you hadn't already noticed the kids also all wore blue today!
Halee had to have Princess Jasmine hair!
After snack we did some counting! This was good practice for the 3 older ones.
I was too busy helping the kids glue to take any pictures of them putting their new page in their book. We did the Genie and the lamp. They decorated their lamps with jewels and gave the Genie a yarn beard!
Super easy! The kids had fun!! It's been fun tying in a color for the day too!
