Q is for Queen of Hearts!

"We're painting the roses red, yes painting the roses red!"

We started off today painting white roses red.  So they understood why, I found a clip of the cards painting and singing on you tube for them to watch.

We played play doh and made our letter Qs!

We stamped and traced our Qs!

We also did letter and number patterns. I did this mainly for the older kids starting kindergarten this fall. I think it was a little much for the 3 year olds. We colored the Queen of hearts too!

For snack I had all the kiddos bring a heart treat!! Sugar high! 

For a fun little craft I grabbed some foam heart stickers at the dollar store along with some heart doilies. They had to use their fine motor skills to peel off the backs of the stickers!

On our alphabet book we used the Queen that we colored and the Roses we painted!! They also made little card men!

I think this is one of my favorite  pages in their book!
