W for Wonderland!

"No time to say Hello! Goodbye!

 I'm late! I'm late! I'm late!"

Today we went to Wonderland! All the kiddos showed up in their rabbit ears for the White Rabbit! W words today, white and wonderland!

We started off with play doh! Play doh Ws!

We made giant pocket watches! This is where we practiced our numbers today. Recognizing them and putting them in order! 

We colored Alice in Wonderland with her friends!

We stamped and traced the letter W!

We talked about vowels. A,E, I, O, U and sometimes Y! I showed them the clip of the caterpillar singing the vowel song. We made our own caterpillar with floating vowels.

For snack, I told the kids no growing or shrinking when they ate their magic
 "eat me" "drink me" snacks!

 

In our alphabet book, they glued Ws with colorful polka dots, made smiley face flowers for the talking flowers and put Alice and all her Wonderland friends in too!

 Lots of learning today! We had lots of fun too!!
