Disney Dinners!

I love any excuse to have a party or do something with a theme. In March 2013 we decided we would take the kids on a big California trip in August again since of the whole incident with H cutting our trip short the year before. We told the kids, they were excited and I decided to start a Disney Dinner countdown. So that about every other week until we went we would do a themed Disney Dinner after a movie. I have had a lot of people ask me where I come up with my ideas. So here I go. We choose a movie. We try to dress the part or come up with matching colors or outfits to wear or just something to tie us in to the movie. We will usually do some sort of craft or activity that has something to do with the movie. For the food, I think, did they eat something specific in the movie? Go somewhere? Where is it taking place? If you still can't think of something, eat what you want and just call it with the characters name or something! They are so fun to do and it got to the point the kids loved being involved and helping plan. We haven't done any since we went and have been back and the kids have been begging!! So I decided when I started this blog that that would be my main reason is to share my dinners and ideas and start doing them again with my kids!
