George and I were married January 10, 2004. For my birthday that year we went to Disneyland!I had been many times growing up but this was George's first time! So fun! We went with my family and some really close family friends. We didn't have any kids ourselves but had a group of 14 people ranging from 6 to 42 years old. We started in St. George Utah and drove. Of course we jammed to Disney tunes the whole way! We stopped in Vegas at Caesars Palace which had a Disney store in it at the time. They had a deal going on that you could by a 5 day park hopper pass for the same price as a 3 day. So of course we got the 5 day pass! We stayed at the Sheraton that was too far out to walk, But the hotel provided a shuttle that ran periodically through the day. One of the days we went to the beach for a while before going to the park.
When ever I went as a kid the most days we were in Disneyland was 2. So I loved having a 5 day pass. George thought five days was way too long and so did others in our group. I think it would be perfect with kids to be able to see and do everything and not be rushed. Have I ever been with my kids for 5 days? No! haha! I really want to someday but with George in school full time it will be a while before that happens. It was also my first time ever at California Adventure Park, it had just opened February 2001! I have to be honest. I thought it was OK. wasn't my favorite. A lot has changed since it first opened and they've added a lot of really amazing rides, like MUST ride kind of rides! I love it just as much as the Disneyland Park now!
So here are some really old pics from our trip.
