The week our first daughter, B, turned a year we went to California with my family. We drove to California from St. George. We did a day at Disneyland, Sea World, and Knotts Berry Farm. I wish we would have done longer at Disneyland. We bought one day park tickets to Disneyland only because the time we went to California Adventure before it hadn't been that great. (Its changed and its just as much my favorite now!!) I felt rushed with one day. We had to stop a lot to feed B or change her. Also for several big rides an adult had to sit off with her. One plus though is that my youngest sister had just had surgery on her Achilles tendon. She had an accident two months before where it was completely severed! So she was in a walking boot and wheelchair so there were a lot of rides we got to go the front of the line for. (I know things have changed since then and there are different passes for different circumstances.) I can remember having to sit off to feed B while everyone went on Thunder Mountain thinking "Really?!" It wouldn't have been so bad if we would have had more time there. B was really good and had fun, did she remember any of it? No. But George and I do and we had a great time making memories with our baby. In my opinion, there is no way you can make it through Disneyland in one day with a baby.

I took a picture of my family on Splash Mountain while I waited off with B.
Winnie the Pooh!
My youngest brother and sister. Here is Timber with her walking boot.
Eyeore
B was SO excited to see Tigger Pooh and Eyeore! It was so cute! She recognized them from tv. She didn't have a problem going to any of the Disneyland characters.
Fantasy Land. Found a door her size!

First time meeting Mickey!!
Took time out to watch a parade. I love watching Disney Parades. We never did growing up because my parents took us on rides whenever there were parades because lines are shorter. Now whenever we go we always make sure to catch a parade! Its one of our favorite parts!
